In this Real Success blog we introduce you to Kendra Morgan, our Branch Manager in Tacoma, Washington. She talks about how she appreciates the opportunity to change lives and how one team of candidates she helped assemble moved mountains of warehouse product in a short time!
1. What is your favorite part about working for Opti Staffing?
It has always been the people. I get to work with an amazing team of recruiters and mentors while meeting talented candidates and successful business owners.
2. Do you have a favorite Opti tradition you could highlight?
That’s a tough one for me to choose! I would have to say it’s a tie between our Tribal weeks and our Holiday parties. Both events bring our teams together closer while celebrating our accomplishments!
3. What makes Opti unique?
Again, I would have to say the people. From the owners, to our management team, to our recruiters and admins, to our candidates and clients, we get to work with the best in the Pacific Northwest! We have a creative vision and approach within our industry that I believe makes us organically unique.
4. Tell us about your favorite moment helping an Opti client or candidate.
I had worked with a client for several years and the company was about to make a large move. Rather than hiring a moving company, he asked for my help in recruiting his own “moving team.” In 72 hours, our team of candidates was able to move over 1 million pounds of warehouse product and office equipment! It was great to be able to help him out in a unique way.
5. What does your perfect day look like?
A perfect day for me is when I meet great candidates and clients that I can create opportunities for and CHANGE LIVES!
6. A Hollywood producer is making a movie about your life – who would be your pick to play the role of you?
If you ask my skilled trades team they would say Mila Kunis so I would roll with that. She seems very outgoing and goofy like myself!
7. What was your first job?
McDonald’s, I loved getting my free employee meal!
8. What is the one word you would use to describe Opti Staffing?
