What is your favorite part about working for Opti Staffing?
My favorite part about working for Opti Staffing is being able to create significance in others lives. We spend all of our time each and every day developing relationships and helping other people get the position they want.
Do you have a favorite Opti tradition you could highlight?
My favorite Opti tradition is the Tribal Challenge. It demands your best work all the time and forces you to elevate your “comfortable” work habit. I believe it builds champions.
What makes Opti unique?
I think that the culture makes Opti unique. We can be who we truly are here and create the results that we want to create. The way that each position is created is so that we can define our own limits to the work.
Tell us about your favorite moment helping an Opti client or candidate.
My favorite moment was helping one job candidate find his dream machining position. He came to us so nervous about interviewing for a position with a company, and he did so well that they offered him a job on the spot! He called and told us how great he did and how much he loves his job. He continues to this day to send us invitations to barbeques and other events because he is so appreciative for the job we found him over a year ago.
What does your perfect day look like?
My perfect day is coming in to work on fire (not literally). I love the feeling of accomplishment. My perfect day is having every time slot that I have available filled. My favorite end-of-the-day feeling is knowing that I had goals set for the previous 8 hours and crushing them.
A Hollywood producer is making a movie about your life – who would be your pick to play the role of you?
Jon Hamm for sure. He is hilarious.
What was your first job?
My first job was a construction position with a local heating and air conditioning company in Portland. I was a helper and installed in new construction homes.
What is the one word you would use to describe Opti Staffing?
The one word I would use would be invigorating.
