Nicole Potts was born and raised in Washington, and has lived in Federal Way for almost 20 years. She loves the PNW and couldn’t dream of living anywhere else. Her life forever changed in 2017 when she became a first time mother of a beautiful baby girl.
On her down time she enjoys sleeping in if she can, and spending time with her family. Nicole really enjoys going to the beach, doing art projects, camping, and cooking!
Nicole joined the Seattle team of Opti Staffing Group in September 2017 as an Administrative Assistant. Jackie was born in Chicago, which will explain her fervent passion for the Chicago Cubs. Growing up in Las Vegas, she got her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies. Having been a cheerleader for her university, traveling and living abroad after college, Jackie has always loved people and getting involved in new experiences.
Moving up to Seattle, Jackie was welcomed by the warm team members of Opti in Tukwila. She knew she wanted to be a part of the Opti culture the second she stepped in the lobby. She wakes up every day to go to work grateful for the supportive team she’s a part of, and the way everyone in the office makes a difference in the lives of others. Tammy was a competitive roller skater for 14 years (like Kristy Yamaguchi but on roller skates) and was the 1988 & 1991 United States Silver and Bronze Medalist. “Terrell spent most of his life as a San Diego, CA resident. Football took him to UC Berkeley where he was a student athlete graduating as a Sociology Major. Following his dream to continue sports, he spent a few seasons on the practice squad with the San Francisco 49ers, then played 3 years professionally in Bologna, Italy. He then moved back to San Diego and spent 6 years there working in the online marketing trade. “Originally from the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Kendra joined the Opti family in September of 2013 as an Executive Recruiter in the Northeast Portland office. Kendra worked diligently to create lasting relationships with both clients and candidates. Her passion for people eventually earned her the opportunity to recruit nationally for clients from California to Georgia. In April of 2016, Kendra was promoted into the Branch Management role in Vancouver, Washington.

Tanya McMorran is an Administrative Assistant for Opti Staffing Group in Seattle, WA. She recently graduated with a certificate in Medical Billing and Coding from DeVry University. Within the next year she plans on becoming an RHIT in the medical field. Tanya has been with Opti for a little under a year. When she isn’t at work; she loves spending time with her boyfriend and three-legged kitty Miss Moose. She also enjoys cooking, baking cakes, reading, crocheting, and painting things for her friends and family. On a hot summer day you will definitely find her at a Mariners game cheering for her team! Tanya currently resides in Milton, WA.
Andrew Heard, CPC, CTS
Andrew Heard is originally from Portland, OR and has a stellar track record with Opti as both a top producing Recruiter and Branch Manager. He started working as a Skilled Trades recruiter in our Portland Branch in 2012. After running a successful skilled trades desk and winning numerous performance awards Andrew was promoted to manager of the Portland Branch in December of 2013. In 2017 Andrew joined the team in Seattle as their branch manager.

One day I decided to pack up my truck and drive across the country from Atlanta to Seattle. I am born and raised in Seattle, and have never lived anywhere else. My wife and I live in Bellevue, which is a perfect location for us. “Christian grew up in Chicago, and left in 2008 to continue a career in the printing industry. He started with Opti Staffing Group in 2012 as a Skilled Trades Recruiter. David, a Portland native, came to Opti Staffing in August of 13’ after recently graduating from Oregon State University with BS in Business Management. He started on Team 45, running the SE Portland Territory, and after a year set the weekly billings record which still stands to this day. In January of 15’, David was tapped to move to Team 41 (NE Portland Territory), and has been there since. David, a current President’s Club member, is a top producing recruiter who has cultivated strong relationships with clients and candidates alike. Dylan’s Opti story starts way back in 2009, when he was candidate placed by Opti’s Lake Oswego office at a Steel fabrication company. After getting hired on by that company after 90 days, he spent the next 5 years out there. It was a great fit and it provided him an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in the manufacturing world. After taking some time off and spending the summer of 2015, hiking, kayaking, camping, and fishing, he popped into Opti’s Northeast Portland location to begin the hunt for new employment. After speaking with two recruiters, he accepted an offer to join Opti as a Skilled Trades Recruiter. Not only does he get the opportunity to work in the field that he is most familiar with, he gets to help people find a job that will allow them to thrive and grow. Dylan love’s his job and the connections that are made doing what he does. He never takes what he does for granted because he knows what it means to be on the other side of the desk!
After two years of community college, Sam didn’t know what to do with himself educationally, so he took a year to work and wound up doing phone-based customer service. When he went back to school, he kept working, moving from doing customer service on phone payments to doing customer service for Powell’s Books, which was much more fun. As he got closer to finishing, he figured out what he really wanted to do was sales. He applied to be a recruiter at another staffing firm during that process, and casually mentioned that to his godfather, who turned out to be an Opti client, and referred him to Katie. He met with Katie, and then with Greg, and two weeks later started work on the SE Trades desk. Sam loves what he does because it makes such a profound difference in people’s lives and every day is a new and different challenge. There’s never a dull moment here.
Lynz is originally from Portland, but spent the majority of her life in the sunny state of Florida. She moved back to the Pacific Northwest two years ago and hasn’t looked back. As an Operations Recruiter, Lynz’s favorite part of her job is the ability to help others. She loves working with the local community, with both candidates and clients, and putting together the puzzle pieces that a good hire entails. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two “children”- Olivia Jane, a mini Australian shepherd, and Stout, a Manchester Terrier.
Elysse is originally from a small town called Yuba City in Northern California. She lived near family in Los Angles prior to moving to the Pacific Northwest 2 years ago and couldn’t be happier! Elysse comes from a background of retail management, which is where she developed her customer service and management skills. She translated these skills into recruiting, sales and account management. Gregory Spunt, CPC, CTS
Greg comes from the frozen north of Buffalo, New York, but has called the beautiful Pacific Northwest home for the past 4+ years. With a background in business to business sales, new business development, full cycle recruiting, customer service, client retention, training management, and team building, he has a varied skill set that allows him to effectively impact the bottom line of any project. Greg started at Opti as an Operations Recruiter, building a thriving client base before transitioning to the Vancouver branch as its first manager. Since being tapped to take over the Northeast Portland office after the successful launch in Vancouver, Greg has been busy building lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike. His favorite part of the job is getting the opportunity to peer into the operations of some of the most interesting companies in the area, and working to truly understand and partner with those organizations to help everyone involved achieve their goals. Jes has worked for Opti Staffing Group for just under a year as an Operations recruiter with our Tacoma branch. Born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of New York state, she has been a Washingtonian since 2011 and has found a true home in the beautiful PNW. I began my career with Opti Staffing Group in November of 2015 when I was interviewing for a temporary position. As fate would have it our Vice President overheard my interview and thought I would make a great Recruiter. I happily applied for the internal position and the rest is history! Coming to Anchorage, AK from a small town in Iowa, I quickly found my home with Opti Staffing Group as an Executive Recruiter. The position allows me to take pride in not only my own work, but the work of the company as a whole and the work of each one of my candidates. I have a strong passion for the finance and non-profit worlds. I grew up in the world of finance and studied the non-profit world at the University of Iowa where I graduated with two degrees and a lot of experiences. Kerry Honan moved here in 2016 from Colorado with her faithful hound Georgia. After traveling around the globe to South Korea, Europe and Scotland, she is fulfilling a lifelong dream to live in Alaska. She has a degree in film and quoting movies is one of her favorite pastimes. “I am very excited to be working here at Opti Staffing. Molly Meek is a Skilled Trades Recruiter with Opti Staffing Group. In this role, Molly looks for talent to better the businesses in Anchorage and the surrounding areas. Molly has more than 10 years of direct experience in customer relations. She also has a background in the trades industry as a commercial fisherwoman out of Kodiak Alaska, back in 2011. Drawing on many years experience in customer service, marketing and management; Molly now focuses mainly on client relations and problem solving. Molly prides herself on her philanthropic characteristics in her day to day life as well as in her professional life, as she worked directly with the Colorado Firefighter’s Calendar raising money for the Colorado Children’s Hospital Burn Unit.
